Terms and Conditions: Bikers & Flights Taiwan (March 2025)
Eligibility
This event is open to individuals who hold a valid Class 2, Class 2A, or Class 2B Singapore motorcycle license and have at least 2 years of riding experience. All participants must meet these criteria to ensure safety and suitability for the ride.
Participants will use rental motorcycles provided by the event organizers. The organizers reserve the right to deny participation if a participant’s riding ability is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for the event.
Registration
Participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration. This information will be used solely for the purpose of organizing the event, such as booking accommodations and rental vehicles. Any incorrect or misleading information may result in disqualification.
Registration is confirmed only after payment has been received. All payments are non-refundable once confirmed.
Insurance Requirement
Participants must possess:
- A valid International Driving Permit (IDP) issued by AA Singapore.
- Travel insurance that explicitly covers motorcycle activities in Taiwan for the duration of the event.
It is the sole responsibility of the participant to ensure that their insurance policy meets these requirements. The event organizers, including TRI333PLE, will not be held liable for any consequences arising from the participant’s failure to secure the appropriate insurance. Proof of valid insurance must be provided upon request by the event organizers.
Safety
All participants are expected to adhere to the road rules and regulations of Taiwan. Riders are responsible for their own safety and are expected to ride within their abilities at all times.
Support and Safety Vehicle
A safety vehicle will accompany the tour to provide emergency support and assistance as needed.
- Luggage Handling: Riders with pillions may store luggage in the safety vehicle. All bags must be waterproof as the safety vehicle is open-top. Single riders are required to bring their own safety straps for securing luggage to their motorcycles.
- Emergency Assistance: The safety vehicle will provide basic first aid and logistical support in case of unforeseen circumstances. However, participants are responsible for ensuring they can complete the ride safely.
Risk and Liability
Participating in a motorcycle tour involves certain risks, including but not limited to accidents, weather conditions, and actions of other participants. By registering for this event, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to release the organizer, TRI333PLE, from any liability, claims, damages, or losses that may arise from your participation.
Cancellation and Refunds
- Organizer-Initiated Cancellations: The organizers reserve the right to cancel the event for any reason, including but not limited to adverse weather, safety concerns, or government restrictions. In the event of cancellation by the organizers, participants will receive a full refund of the registration fee.
- Participant-Initiated Cancellations: No refunds will be provided for cancellations initiated by participants after payment confirmation.
- Itinerary Changes: Due to the nature of Taiwan’s landscape and potential road closures, the itinerary may change. The organizers will provide updates promptly should such changes occur.
Privacy Policy
All personal data collected during registration will be used solely for the purpose of organizing the event, such as booking hotels and rental vehicles. Participant information will not be shared with third parties or used for any other purposes without explicit consent.
Acceptance of Terms
By registering for this event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not proceed with registration.
